Working on the the planning, design, construction, or operations of buildings with considerations to energy use, water use, indoor environmental quality, material section and/or the building's effects on its site? We want to hear from you!
Net Zero Grid
Researching ways to find the balance between the amount of greenhouse gas that's produced and the amount that's removed from the atmosphere? Working on emission reduction or emission removal. Pitch your idea at the CGC Round 4!
Sustainable Transportation/Green Mobility
Does your innovation revolve around forms of mobility that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and pollutants, reduce noise and odor pollution, or support sustainability during transport? Apply today!

Delving into renewable energy? Utilizing the vast amounts of energy available from the force of the winds out at sea? Involved with wind farms, water pumping practices, or other off shore wind projects? Submit an application asap!

Is there an Application Fee?
No, the Clean Green Challenge is free to apply to and attend.
Do I have to be a registered company to apply?
No, the Clean Green Challenge accepts very early stage start ups, teams with an idea and a plan for entering the market in the coming future, or researchers looking to commercialize their project in the future.
What about funding?
We are focusing on early stage start ups with funding under $500,000 in dilutive funds.
When do I have to submit my application?
Applications will open soon! Stay tuned!
Is there any virtual pitching options?
We will not be accepting any virtual pitches. We need at least two, maximum five, members of your team to be present for the whole for lectures, group work, and pitching.
We are based outside the U.S. Can we still apply?
Yes! As long as at least two people from your team is available to be here in person on April 17th, we are accepting non-local applicants. We will not be able to cover any travel expenses.
Event Day Agenda and Requirements
This event will be on April 17th, 2025 and has a day long time requirement for all finalists (8am - 8pm).
Each team must have two members present on the day of. Each team must bring a laptop and charger for the group work portion of the day.
From 8am - 12pm, finalists will enjoy lectures from industry experts.
From 12pm - 1pm, finalists will be treated to lunch as they enter into the next
stage.
From 1pm - 4:00pm, finalists will participate in group work to come up with a
winning pitch deck. Coaches from various fields will be there to help finalists
perfect their pitch.
From 4:00pm - 8pm participants will be able to enjoy the event, the food, the
people and then pitch their final product to a team of judges.
This is a great opportunity for the lucky few finalists who are chosen to connect and gain knowledge from industry experts!
